General Council meeting

A General Council meeting of all clubs was held on Sunday 7 February 2001 at Woodbrook Youth Facility

15 persons were present and the following were the main decisions made:

  • The Federation will send a team to the ITU Triathlon Pan American Cup on the 26 February in Ecuador
  • The tentative team is Akiel Baptiste, Jonathan Paul, David Hay and the manager is Stan Patino
  • The MOS will be requested to fund this trip with funds taken from the 2011 budget
  • A Pool Sprint Triathlon will be held on Sunday 13 Feb at Petrotrin to finally select the team
  • Each club is to submit 2 volunteers to assist in having the Keep-Fit on 13 March at Chaguaramas
  • The 1st meeting of this committee will be on Sunday 13 February 2011 at poolside Petrotrin
  • A Facebook page will opened for the Federation
