A duathlon is a multi-sport event involving a run and a ride. Formats include run/ride/run or run/ride.

What is an aquathlon?

An aquathlon is a three stage race comprising of a run, swim and then another run.

What is the distance covered in a triathlon?

Triathlons have a variety of distances. Some of the most common distances are:

  • Super Sprint—400m swim, 10k bike, 2.5k run (sometimes called a Try-a-Tri)
  • Sprint—750m swim, 20k bike, 5k run
  • Olympic—1500m swim, 40k bike, 10k run
